Private Swim Lessons

If you want to take swimming lessons, but don’t feel comfortable in a group, this is the way to go!  Whether you are a beginner or are looking to improve speed and efficiency, we have an instructor who can help. 

Each Private Lesson is 30 minutes in duration. We offer Semi-Private lessons allowing two participants to work with one instructor for 30 minutes.

Steps to sign up:

  1. Verify that you have a valid membership by signing in to your online portal. For questions regarding memberships, please call 801-581-8898.
  2. Refer to our instructor bio’s below to select an instructor and email them to schedule a time* for your lesson. Please allow up to 36 hours to hear back. 
  3. After scheduling a date and time for the lesson with your swim instructor, please sign into your online portal to purchase a single private lesson or package of private lessons.  
  4. Please send payment confirmation to the instructor before the first scheduled private lesson.

INSTRUCTOR BIOS

Contact

  • Hannah swam competitively for 12 years between club, summer league, and high school swim. 
  • She is a varsity athlete, and went to state all 4 years of high school. She specialized in butterfly and long distance freestyle.
  • Hannah has been teaching both private and group swim lessons for over 3 years. 
  • She loves teaching ages 8 and up. She finds great joy in seeing her students improve and gain confidence in the water.
  • Hannah is available Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Please make sure to email her to find a time and day that works best for both of you!

Contact
  • Morgan grew up swimming and started playing water polo and competitive swimming in high school. She loves to be in the water, and teaching in the water just as much!
  • Morgan specialized in butterfly, but knows all strokes well, as she regularly competed in the medley events. She loves to teach stroke technique.
  • Morgan has swim lesson experience with group and private classes ages 3-12. She prefers to teach early-elementary-age and introducing strokes to children 8 and up. She also enjoys teaching stroke techniques to adults.
  • She is available most afternoons and evenings, Monday through Friday, as well as during the day on weekends. Email her to schedule a time.

  • Trent has been swimming for his whole life and has been swimming competitively for twelve years. Trent currently swims for the Utah Swim Club here at the University of Utah.
  • Trent loves being in the water, teaching and swimming. Trent is specialized in all strokes for swimming and has one year experience of teaching swim lessons
  • Trent has taught ages 6 months to 17 years old. He has experience teaching kids to float, to preparing kids to swim competitively.
  • Trent is available Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. Feel free to reach out to set up an appointment!

  • Competed for two years as a Division I swimmer on the U.S. varsity team, bringing high-level competitive experience to instruction.
  • Has been swimming most of his life and has several years of coaching experience, combining long-term aquatic experience with hands-on instruction.
  • Works with both adults and youth across all skill levels, with a focus on stroke development and competitive swimming.
  • He is available Friday and Saturday afternoons.

 *Private Lessons should be completed within the semester of purchase. They do expire within 180 days since purchase.
