What is Crimson Council
Crimson Council is a board of student leaders from all nine program areas at the Student
Life Center. This group strives to improve the student staff experience by leading
Crimson Crew trainings, planning and leading Crimson Crew events, and advocating for
their fellow co-workers and department. Crimson Council aspires to actively engage
student staff in both personal and professional development.

Crimson Cup Games
Get ready for an epic semester of friendly rivalry, team spirit, and unforgettable moments in the Crimson Cup! From wild challenges to exciting events, every point earned brings your team closer to victory, bragging rights, and a pizza party celebration you won’t want to miss!
- All nine areas will be teamed up based on amount of staff within each group to create four overall teams; the four teams will have even numbers of staff for fair competition
- Crimson Council members will be Team Captains for the entire group
- Opportunities to gain points include:
- Attending Crimson Crew Events
- Mini challenges
- Professional Development
- Example: 50% of the Team came to a Crimson Crew Event = 0.5 points
- For smaller events such as mini challenges and professional development 0.5 points will be allotted per person attending
- A trophy and group picture will be put in Basecamp
- Pizza party will be provided for the winning Team
