With four new fitness studios, including TRX and Cycling, there‚Äôs no better time to jump into Group Fitness.  Our program offer non-credit group exercise classes that fit your schedule and style.  A wide variety of classes ensures you get your weekly cardio, strength, and flexibility workouts.

FITNESS INSTRUCTOR TRAINING

Our in-house Fitness Instructor Training (FIT) course is your first step to teaching group fitness classes for Campus Recreation Services and inspiring active, healthy living. This 8-week course is a combination of lectures on ACE fundamentals and practical applications that will cover the basics of group exercise instruction including format options, anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, injury prevention, cueing, effective class planning and more! This is not a for-credit class and does not result in a national certificate, rather, it is a first step for participants interested in teaching at the Eccles Student Life Center.

PERSONAL TRAINING

Whether you are new to working out and looking to get started, or if you want to improve your strength or performance, our nationally certified trainers will educate you in proper exercise technique and help you create a fun and exciting comprehensive fitness program.
