Summit Classes & Events
Come climb in the Summit's first ever Boulder League! This 7 week regular season will have new boulders to climb every week for teams to battle for the regular season champions and then Boulder League Competition! The entry fee not only gets you into the regular season but the boulder league comp as well (See Boulder League Competition Below for More Details). Here are some details about the league:
Team Sizes: 2-4; No team, no worries! Sign up as a free agent, see 'Team Name' below.
Team Name: When registering you will be asked to enter an appropriate team name. All climbers wanting to be on the same team need to enter the same team name. If you don’t have a team just type "free agents" and we will make sure you have a team.
Climbing Categories: Recreational (V Easy to V3), Intermediate (V4-V6), and Advanced (V7+)
How it Works: During registration, you will pick a category you will be competing in. Your category will be the hardest climbs that you complete 3 of. During the league, you can get bumped up a category but not down. During the season climbers will have 1 week since the day of the set (which will be posted here) to come in, climb, and turn in a digital scorecard. Each week your top 3 climbs will count to your team score. Climbers will drop their lowest week score just in case you miss a week. The Summit will track the team’s progress and post scores here on our website. At the end of the season, we will announce the champions and they will be in the #1 position for the Boulder League Competition.
Boulder League Competition
All teams that have registered and participated in the boulder league, get ready for a crazy comp! Competing as a team encountering over 12 competition style boulders to climb, your team will move from section to section, climbing multiple boulders in each section. Boulders will vary in grade, but be smart each section is timed. The judges will be watching and keeping score so we can crown a Boulder League Champion!
This balancing and technique based event crates (pun intended) a challenge unlike other climbing activities. While placing crates in a vertical tower, and balancing on top, you will attempt to build the highest stack. Register before hand for a chance to win a FREE entry to SENDsations Bouldering Comp!
Disco After Dark
It’s going be a late night at the Summit ! Join us for a disco after dark from 10pm to midnight! We'll be dropping the lights down low and pumping the jams up to enjoy a late night of bouldering. Come dressed in your grooviest gear! Register before hand to be in the running for a FREE entry to the SENDsations Comp!
